Rendering and Downloads

A render consumes one exact saved revision. Unsaved browser state is never part of the job.

Submit a render

1. Save the project.
2. Request an estimate for the intended revision.
3. Review dimensions, frame count, duration, and itemized Kino Credit components.
4. Confirm the exact total.
5. Submit once; idempotency protects duplicate admission.

Kinoder reserves the exact current total atomically with job creation. Successful output settles the charge. Eligible failure or cancellation releases the reservation; legacy already-debited jobs retain their refund path.

Progress and cancellation

Render history exposes queued, running, cancelling, succeeded, failed, and cancelled work with durable progress. Cancellation of queued work is immediate; running work uses cooperative cancellation and an account cooldown.

Completed output is a private H.264/AAC MP4. The download endpoint reauthorizes the active workspace and redirects to a fresh attachment-preserving signed URL.
