AI Providers and Routes

Kinoder exposes administrator-curated capabilities rather than raw provider choice to creators.

Route configuration

For each capability, configure the supported provider/model route, required credential, positive integer Kino Credit rate, timeout, feature-specific constraints, and route order. A route must be ready for every input the accepted job snapshots.

Fallback

Fallback is allowed only when it preserves the customer contract and cannot exceed the accepted charge. Price the worst billable permitted path, including the possibility that both a primary and fallback attempt incur provider cost.

Activation gate

A route is unavailable when credentials are missing, its rate is zero, it violates feature constraints, or the deployment-specific profitability review has not approved it. Free provider work requires an explicit free-generation policy and tracked subsidy.

Evidence

Record provider, model, region, currency, price source, evidence date, billing unit, retry/fallback behavior, platform allowance, risk buffer, target margin, calculated minimum rate, configured rate, and pause threshold.
