Financial Profitability Model
Kinoder maintains three distinct financial views. A healthy generation margin does not prove that the business is profitable.
1. Generation contribution
consumed-Credit revenue
- provider generation expense
- variable generation infrastructure
- generation refunds not recovered from providers
= generation contribution
Measure by capability, route, and paid versus subsidized usage.
2. Account contribution
Credit contribution
+ allocated subscription contribution
- account storage and bandwidth
- payment fees and disputes
- support and moderation provision
= account contribution
3. Operating profitability
account contribution
- fixed infrastructure
- payroll and contractors
- software and compliance
- sales and marketing
- general operating expense
= operating profit or loss
